Wing-walker’s Waltz (2018)
A counselor advised me, when I was going through a particularly rough time, to “not let go of what you’ve got until you get hold of something better.” Wing walking. Fascinated by the concept, I learned that this act of moving along the wings of a biplane during flight arose, along with barnstorming, as a daredevil stunt in the aerial shows of the 1920s. I wrote a song about it too, but more on that at a later date.
