Arriving in the San Francisco Bay-area in 1998, Patrice plunged into the music scene, performing sophisticated and elegant jazz standards in duet with Tony Marcus as Leftover Dreams.
And she took up the lever harp.

Headed Home (2005) is Patrice's first album of original music. Composed for voice and harp and other instruments, these songs of healing and memory reflect the journey home. A second collection of originals, Bluest Blue, was released in September, 2011 and celebrated in a series of concerts in 2012. Suffused with lakes and the sea, half of the collection of song-paintings features harp and voice, and half showcases piano. The album represents a broad spectrum of styles from meditative tone poems including a string quartet to jazzy blues and swing.

We Must Be Arrows (2014) takes the listener straight to the heart of desire and creation. Like arrows, we use the things of our world and our life experience to launch ourselves to that which we most long to realize. At once antique and modern, We Must Be Arrows represents a broad spectrum of styles: from ballads and meditative tone poems to a simply silly paean for tea.

Now after a 10-year pause is the launch of a series of recordings. Released in November 2023, Secret Poems, is a collection of original tunes and meditations for solo harp.
As well as playing in a crypt, on a table, deep in the forest and at numerous camps and workshops, in 2004, the harp drew Patrice to join the non-profit organization, Healing Muses, which takes healing harp music into local hospitals, palliative and cancer care facilities. With Muses, she's recorded two albums of Healing Music, most recently Solace of Sound (2019). A Garden of Healing (2010) includes two of her original tunes.

A celebration of the new album of solo harp originals, this event is also an opportunity for nap time, meditation or yoga. Mats & bolsters (& chairs) available. Bring your own blankie and pillow. There are two sets of stairs (with a solid handrail) to the studio. Admission by donation. Please register in advance to get the door code.
